Banda Elástica - 2 [HD]
I didn't even know this Mexican band by name. They recorded this work, I believe, in 1989 (different sources). A work that has its roots in jazz reinterpreted in an #avant style, following the various lessons from #Henry Cow and the Canterbury scene, integrating the flavors of their native ethnicities. Honestly, I listened to about half of it because, for my tastes, it's too regular; I prefer wilder sounds, but I don't rule out that it could appeal to lovers of #jazzrock because from what little I heard, it seems like a work with interesting ideas, even if quite distant from my sensibility.

Them - Gloria (Live in France)
Van the man wasn’t exactly satisfied being part of the Them group back in the '60s, but this rendition of the song "Gloria" is so electrifying that it would make even a drowsy guy dance wildly. And the Parisian audience clearly appreciates it a lot. Thanks, Van!
