I travel. I have traveled a lot. Now less. I read. I listen to music. Blues and related genres. I ruminate thoughts. I don't count the days. I am EXTREMELY curious. Even if then I don't know what to do with the curiosities resolved. As a kid, I was madly in love with Lorca Garcia and I learned Spanish more than decently. I am passionate about places different from the known Europe. I also like ugly countries. (there are some) and the outskirts where people live. I am atheist. My favorite books are those that talk about Europe from the late 1800s to the 1960s. I like Graham Greene and his followers. The Spy and P.Kerr, Nadine Gordimer, klezmer music and Balkan trombones. I am not a gourmet even if I like cooking. Even the trombones have dropped in ranking. I include DIRE STRAITS and all the greats of the blues and also poetry. :

.

Apocalypse Now for me is one of the best films of the 20th century.

I don't know what else to say.

Since I was a girl, I have been in love with Leonard Cohen, to whom I would have asked for his hand if I had met him in person. Or maybe not. I would have accepted even a libertarian regime. I would NOT have asked for his hand.

BOB DYLAN - m'illumino d'immenso. and JJ Cale.

Greet with joy!

I have read the core at least twice, very colonial, introspective, and full of regrets.

    • I’m tying a knot in my handkerchief and I’ll make sure to read it as soon as possible, it’s necessary. In fact, it’s right now!
    • *A knot
  • oh how few we are (let's say not too many, alright...) Graham Greene enthusiasts (with an e, please)!
I wish I had time to read what I’m missing ('the heart of the matter', for example) and to reread everything (The Quiet American is one of my all-time favorite books)
Really, I am delighted and I cherish you dearly

Hello, I gladly and affectionately return the greeting, lover of Leonard Cohen (after all, we have some tastes in common, see? Never say never). And in the meantime, I'm also going to DeAmarti, since I hadn't done it yet.

I only realized later the double meaning it conveyed. The direct object was, obviously, the hand, in exchange for the blues.

I took the liberty of De-loving her given my passion for sabre teeth!

  • So now I’ll try to explain to you (in case you have the patience to read) why you made a slight mistake in calling me a cogl (space) ione, in I don’t quite remember which comment on a DeAscolto I can’t quite recall either.
You see, had you referred to my current state, I wouldn’t have had anything to say against it. That’s true.
But, you see, you attached the label of cogl (space) ione not to my present self but to a very young, therefore curious little rascal aged around 7 or 8 who, while exploring the infinite possibilities that the world offered him, also came up with the rather silly idea of trying to connect his grandmother's battery-operated fan (which spun slowly) with two electric wires to the home electrical outlet to make it spin faster and thus create "more coolness."
Of course, the idea was (essentially) ridiculous, but I don’t think it was enough to define that agitated little snot as a cogl (space) ione.
Calling a child a cogl (space) ione [because you, there, who claim to love literature, will know that words are important] is not exactly the behavior of particularly intelligent people.
I could also say by cogl (still space) ioni, but I won’t do that out of respect.
    Thank you for your attention.

odiosanto I didn't think I would offend her, my comment was an -unfortunate- joke, but her tone seemed very uninhibited. More than anything, I thought she was making fun of herself... I apologize.

Well, Klezmer music, not all of it. Just a couple of songs. It makes you want to dance, though.
