I too am here to learn a lot from others and for fun. Yes, I studied the clarinet and I have to thank my father who made me do it reluctantly. Now I know how to understand if someone miscounts a beat, the tempo, sight-reading, THANK YOU DAD. They made me cry, I was a bit indifferent, I was only 14, but you know, there you can’t stop if there’s no pause on the staff (then a pause is usually 1/4, it can also be 4/4, but then you have to start playing again—you can’t stop because you’re not capable... if you stop, you stop and ruin the piece for everyone else. They teach you a form of respect for others who play and, in return, you live respecting others who live. Bye Dave.
