Hey COACH!!! Yesterday I ran 42 km in 4 hours and 21 minutes. However, my son pointed out that I shouldn't stop the stopwatch when I go to the bathroom to take a poop... can you confirm that for me, it's not allowed?
    • tia
      29 sep 24
No no it's perfectly legitimate!! In front of the cup, the world stops, so the timer adjusts.. And then it's never wasted time; rather, it's a source of great thoughts!

I was at the beach in Sardinia, at Cinta. I placed it under the beach umbrella to go for a swim, and when I came back, it was gone!! I’ll let you imagine my despair!!!!!!!!! I had been carrying it for yyyyyyyyyears.

President, today 10 km in 51.20 seconds. My personal record. Do you remember that day half a year ago, when at the tender age of 49, I used to do it in 1 hour and 25?

President, today 10 km in 51.20 seconds. My personal record. Do you remember that two and a half years ago, when at the tender age of 49 I started running, I used to do it in 1 hour and 25?

Uehilaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa great weather! braaaaaaa. When I did a ten km in 43 minutes about fifteen years ago (..oh god maybe twenty..) ... But today I would be over an hour if I did well, even more. So you beat me! That damn hip, damn it!
    • Almotasim
      26 mar 24
Oh, thanks. But overall, with 43 you're in the lead. I'm getting close to a free marathon. I need to beat 5 hours and 20...

PS I understood the encrypted message from the hip/Anka. Diana didn't just break your heart but also your..., your hip.

      27 mar 24
I remember reading that Paul Anka, in one of his last concerts, lost his dentures and they fell into the audience... Anyway, to hell with this cursed hip. Fortunately, with canoeing, I picked up another great sport. My current triathlon is bike-kayak-swimming. Plus, tennis (which came back through the window after years of inactivity). For that, you definitely need anti-inflammatory pills!!!

How many disciplines! Sports activity Disciplinatha...

Don’t tell me that canoeing doesn’t start from Ponte Azzone; I would suffer if that weren’t the case...

No, it doesn't start from there... But when I do the Adda, I pass under the C azzone Bridge!

Il Lago di Garlate sullo sfondo della Gioconda, l'ipotesi in uno studio Just to emphasize the fact that this is not just any little bridge nor a random location... Even good Leonardo noticed it. If you look closely under the bridge, there's already a drawing of me with my paddle. Oh yes, I'm very old!
    • Almotasim
      14 may 24
The man with the paddle is the meaning of it all. Leonardo had already sensed it!

By the way, coach, yesterday I clocked in at 47'47" for the 10 km.

Yes, I’m a cyclist even though I’ve been riding less lately... An average of 2,000 km annually, mostly on gravel in recent years! Furthermore, for the past year, kayaking has taken over as one of my great passions, and I have to split myself between the two!!

I cyclist, this year 11,000. I have a background as a canoeist with a participation in the selections for the world championships. I came in 12th... and thus excluded. I was doing K1.

      9 jan 23
11,000?? Wow, I wouldn't even have the time! Besides the legs... Kayak, a great love from the start. The silence of the lake fascinates me!

I used to do river rafting, down the streams. My discipline no longer exists; it was too dangerous. They replaced it with shorter, easier, and more controlled routes to avoid accidents. In my time, unfortunately, some lives were lost.

@[tia] Not at all, everything stems from two backstories: the first, when Doria was founded, in 1946, the horizontally striped jersey was more typical of many cycling teams at the time, regardless of the colors. Second, a rat hole where the four blucerchiati rats took refuge until a few years ago was the Cycling Society of Sampierdarena, and thus the insults about being cyclists...
    • tia
      9 jan 23
Oh yes, after writing I really thought about vintage cycling jerseys and I imagined your mental connection... The second piece of information was actually unknown to me!

But aunt, are you going to the Bocchetta di Introzzo Refuge in Lecco, where you can "eat, drink, and sing, ah-ah-ah! / bobobobobobobobobobobooo"? Because then "In the evening you will be able to admire / The stars taken dancing / The animals will want to stop and watch with you (to watch)!"
