It’s a mystery that I discovered De André so late, (Battiato aside) I was only listening to English indie music from Velvet in Rimini or occupied social centers.

None of this matters, since now I can get to know him more and more every day with you.

The turning point was that box set of "in direzione ostinata e contraria" with a triple CD that contributed to my initiation.
Actually, to be honest, it was also "Crueza de Ma" sung by Cristiano in an episode of "Che tempo che fa". Then it was love!

As I’ve already written, De André enjoyed creating songs like puzzles to be understood, studied, and translated like "La domenica delle Salme".

The podcast talks about Hotel Supramonte! About the kidnapping of De André and Ghezzi. And I’ve just added another piece to the puzzle or riddle that the music of this singer-songwriter represents, right now as I am writing to you.

The day has not gone without comments by chance. The Armed Bovines congratulate all Debaseriani and Debaserioti for their strong resistance to the so-called postmodern world, although we prefer to define it as post-Fordist. It would be easy to legitimise with heated shouts a nice "April 25 is not a mere anniversary, now and forever Resistance!" Indeed, too easy. Similarly, it would be simple to emphasize the deliberately obscene historical narratives of the ruling right. That the day is always divisive is a fact, just as it is a fact that we claim its divisiveness. Every controversy that promptly erupts every year on this date should not make us stand to attention for some media expression that inflames or pleases us. On the contrary, one should be silent, stay solemn, not to be compliant with the ruling bourgeoisie, whether it is right or left, but to clarify OUR point of view. Which one?
