Nico - These Days

Belle & Sebastian owe something to this song...

The Dirtys - You Should Be Sinnin' (Full Album)

In a remarkable period of "welcome back, wankers" - I admit I wasn't into it anymore - I listened to, (re)discovered garage bands full of soul and blood with, as usual, the most diverse influences from beat to punk, from psychedelia to R&B - from power pop to folk, from rockabilly to mod, including soul and even hard rock. In short, the essence of rock 'n' roll from true beasts to the wild scream of "fuck your virtuosic and super-fast scales and your four-octave vocal range bullshit." Since 1990 onwards, with some revivals of old fossils, savansadir.

AHAHAHAHAHAH, MICK COLLINS. DEVIATION NO. 2
For enthusiasts, one of the most important from the mid-eighties to today. The Gories and Dirtbombs?! Too easy with their "famous" creatures.
NeGro is a garage-punk-lofi machine, with an adoration of Black Music... often a mic out of category, savansadir.
With three other SLOBS - never was a name more appropriate - a single album dated 1997. Don’t skimp on the volume, this one breaks everything. "An orgy of beers, girls, and cocaine"... and the NeGro looks so calm just watching...

It's always a big, enormous, false problem. It's a problem reducing oneself to social "withdrawal" (I take up the post by @[IlConte]) because (de facto) alienated from the reality of things, in turn reducing what is outside of us to the level of a confused ideology that does not represent reality at all (see "right" and "left" in the terms understood by Bourgeois Representative Democracy). The ambiguous figures who define themselves as anti-capitalists (like @[Hank Monk]) are a problem too, as it's never clear how committed they are or what they're really doing, when they make grand statements only to finally position themselves as reformists or even renounce their right-leaning views, while claiming that every "progressivism" is a child of turbo-capitalism. As if the ridiculous closure of those """socialisms""" that always end up being purely social-democratic (see the socialisms of the 21st century) were what ought to be opposed to capitalism. The truth is that SOCIAL FREEDOMS have never truly gone against individual liberation by principle, and today, the moment has come to liberate everyone, rather than end up like the old real socialisms that only liberated the "structure" or just a part of the discriminated social categories (like women, whom socialism first came to aid, even the utopian kind).
"The Damage above the hill remains fixed and the essence is this":
Me exploited and the other exploited, a single entity. Those who are not exploited can decide, but above all, I and the other exploited are we the exploited, a single thing, a single entity. Understanding this necessity of liberation, even if not sufficient. Organizing, getting to work among ourselves in intermediate struggles can be the beginning of class self-sufficiency. Other things, other discussions do not exist and if they do exist, they are useless. There is nothing else to discuss.

Stanley Clarke - Journey to Love | 1975 | (Full Album)

#onewhoshouldnotbe

An attempt, almost impossible, at a semi-serious journey through the discography and the countless collaborations of Steve Gadd, in almost chronological order.
1975 STANLEY CLARKE - JOURNEY TO LOVE

Boston - More Than A Feeling

The track is just the right level of cheesiness, plus the singer hits an incredible octave leap, forget about autotune...

White Spirit - Fool For Gods
A standout piece from one of the very first hard and heavy bands from the UK in the 80s. An intro to make Eloy envious...

This evening I will meet near Pescara with @[withor]. Of course, besides having a nice meal, we will talk about music; I will try to introduce him to the immense God Machine, whom I believe he doesn't know very well. Later on, we'll definitely post a photo!!! Anyway, he’s paying for everything since he celebrated his birthday just a few days ago!!! The God Machine - The Desert Song EP - 1992 (FULL)
