Marlene Kuntz - Nuotando Nell'Aria

“Oh là” around here has different shades. It should be pronounced together, slightly tilting the head at the second vowel. It could be summarized as a “finally” accompanied by a sense of relief. Or maybe a “see, you made it?” or even “thank goodness it’s nothing serious.” It depends on the inflection; if it’s serious with a prolonged “Ooh,” it means “damn, you did it.” If the “là” is pronounced sharply and detached, something definitive has happened. Positive spectrum. Finally, I’ve made it, with more tired ears. I wonder what impact it has/could have in adolescence. I’m waiting for the thirtieth-anniversary edition, but in the meantime, my heart is asking: “what is missing?”

Monaco 2013… more or less…

One album and a couple of EPs… sensational

Pure garage… sometimes beat, sometimes punk, sometimes melodic… you dance, you don’t stand still… it’s already Rocchenrolle

Chalk Circle - Together
one of the most underrated Alternative Rock bands of the late '80s... for fans of James, Crowded House, Catherine Wheel... not to mention that April Fool, a gem from the Pale Fountains school.

Steve Miller Band - Wish Upon A Star
Steve nailed it with hits like Fly like an eagle, Take the money and run, The joker, but this, Winter time, and the 18 minutes of Macho city are perfect pieces.
