Flash and the Pan - Waiting For A Train
[Farewells, whistles in the dark, gestures, coughing, and lowered shutters. It's time. Perhaps the automatons are right.]

Paolo Conte - Gli impermeabili But how well it rains on the raincoats

Subsonica - Tutti I Miei Sbagli

He came from the cold to be with me for three hours! I gave him this record, and while I was on the train back, he dedicated "Tutti i miei sbagli" to me.

Yet he was right; the essence of that day is all in that track, and listening to the lyrics, the dedication is less offensive than it might seem.

Where's the enigma? In the record itself. A crystal keepsake that can implode or explode at any moment. A flawless album but rich in content, with lyrics that talk about partying (discoteca labirinto), mistakes, anorexia (Aurora Sogna)... speaking of a generation like only truly great records can.

We all danced to Microchip Emozionale!!! On the beach, at weddings, at parties, or concerts. It sparked an Italian "new wave" that even Battiato liked.

"I don't care much if nothing is the same as before, the words about us dissolve like this, in the day that eludes real time, so I can feel alive in all my mistakes!!!"

Since that day, I've dedicated this to more than one person :-)

Subsonica - Colpo Di Pistola

Taylor Swift - You Belong With Me I had the unfortunate idea to listen to this shit again today and I can't get it out of my head, fuck.

P.F.M. - Harlequin ... oldies a kaizer... Di Cioccio on drums is outstanding (77 years old, mind you), Patrick on bass is always a guarantee, and Lucio "violin" Fabbri always brings emotions, while the other newcomers hold their own... including the new guitarist Marco Sfogli... great concert yesterday with a mix of new (few) and old tunes, among which this one gave chills...
