Round numbers fascinate for no reason, but, damn it, 40,000 -that's forty thousand- online reviews are quite a lot. Then you can sit there and ponder the quality, but if you read one every kilometer you could circle the globe. I stop for a second and think about it! May love triumph!

The Doors - The End (original)
"Jim Morrison & the Doors on the road" (9)
I will say little about this masterpiece, otherwise it would require a half treatise to cover it. The opposite of "Light My Fire." Sounds and atmospheres immediately made the Doors a unique band, out of any scheme, genre, or other similar nonsense. It starts from a foundation of Ray, Robby, and John and develops each night at the "Whisky a Go Go." For us, after decades and having seen and heard it all, it seems simple... but imagine listening to a band live with those atmospheres and those lyrics in the summer of 1966. Because "wanting to kill the father and fuck the mother (all night long)" is not exactly a calm and relaxing theme phrase. And to think that just a few days earlier they had signed with Electra; it really would have taken little to keep them from being known to us.

Bob Dylan - I Could Have Told You (Audio)
It’s official, there will be another album of old "Sinatra-esque" standards. This time it will even be a triple album with around thirty tracks. I don’t know if anyone felt the need for it, but he’s really gotten into it now :D

Lou Reed - Satellite of Love

Always for the common good of all, if it works, I would like to experiment with the initiative of Everyone (interested in the matter), to create a common Listening-Space, marked by the hashtag #FiloLogico just to recognize each other, where, as it used to happen some time ago on TeamRock, we can post our favorite tracks, without limitations on genre or era, linking them together, in which the subsequent track refers to the previous one by type of music, same Artist, collaboration/belonging or something specific that has involved and united them both, such as a "musical school," event/concert/episode, or even a work/album/musical track, or more generically a moment in one’s life; let's give it a try, what do you think? Bye. Mauro

#vaporinspiration (or, the past of the future) no. 71 Cyndi Lauper - Time After Time lyrics
Who could have thought it would remain a classic after all these years...
Miles Davis understood right away that it was a true standard.
And he recorded it immediately.
