Highlights of the VIRAL Match between Luigi Primo and Mikey O'Shea
I saw this thing on TV: Luigi Primo, the Italian wrestler who fights with pizza!
AMAZING!
NOW I’VE FOUND OUT WHAT REALLY HAPPENED TO @[sfascia carrozze] !!!! cosa:

Garland Jeffreys - Miami Beach (Official Music Video)
He has an incredible background… They didn’t really pay much attention to him (not to use French). What a pity! Escape Artist is the best

Louis Armstrong And His Orchestra - St. James Infirmary - New York 12.12. 1928
1923. Luis Armstrong. The best
(bellissima anche quella di Van Morrison che vi impongo di ascoltare. poi ditemi quella migliore

Hugh Laurie - Evenin' (From Ocean Way Studios)
I discovered him recently and he makes the kind of music I like.
He doesn’t care about money, which makes him even more relaxed. And I love that drummer.

Mark Stewart - Learning to Cope with Cowardice
The genres that transformed the experimental landscape were dub and funk. Mark Stewart (Pop Group) and Johnny Rotten (Public Image Limited) pursued a true revolution by contaminating post-punk with funk, dub, and industrial breakbeat...1983!

Useless and even harmful confessions of an asterisk also known as: Praise of *the ephemeral,* but maybe that's *a bit much* (editorial in the listens, because no one ever reads editorials)

For quite a while now, I’ve learned to come to terms with the elusive, fleeting nature of time, at least since I wasted time reading the Genji monogatari, which then, in the end, leaves the reader with nothing but a sense of emptiness, due to the relentlessness with which everything, without exception, passes. Even today, from the window, I see the magnolia fading, which just yesterday was making all the allergic people sneeze, and a damn harsh wind is whipping through the streets even though spring has only just poked its head out. But I’m digressing.
For personal, work-related, and concentration reasons, I had to and wanted to abandon this place for a while—certainly guilty, but legitimately so—a place I still love, only to return and inevitably find it faded, compared to what I remembered. Is it possible that in just a few months, so many users and, in some cases, friends have left this beloved relic of the internet that is no more? I don’t think the (main) reason was that pissing outside the pot by the boss about Ukraine. Maybe it’s the embarrassing use of AI (I don’t demonize AI, I work with it, but here it’s absolutely useless, come on)? Maybe we all have better things to do? Who knows.
This is just a prayer, not an invective. I’m calling out to those to whom I once, in my own way and somehow, cared for:

Scritti Politti - Wood Beez
This and Provision remain two outstanding albums of electro funky/sophisti pop (in the style of Hearsay by Alexander O'Neal).

Angine De Poitrine - ABABA HOTEL - Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval 2025
And here’s another little pill of angina pectoris for today…
Have a great week, everyone.

HEY JOE - Charlotte Gainsbourg (Lars von Trier's Nymphomaniac Soundtrack)
Besides the most famous rendition by Johnny Allen James Marshall "Jimi" Hendrix, there are numerous more or less successful versions of the renowned song "Hey Joe." Today, while searching for something by Lars von Trier to watch, I discovered that there is also this beautiful version sung by actress Charlotte Lucy Gainsbourg (daughter of Jane Mallory Birkin and Serge Gainsbourg), featured in his controversial 2013 film "Nymph()maniac" (of which there are two versions—a short one of 241 minutes and another extended one of 325 minutes). Personally, I haven't seen either of them, but I am quite intrigued.
