reigning sound - when you touch me

Besides Mick Collins, another beautiful bastard Devil-Wizard of the genre is Greg - Oblivians - Cartwright. Legendary with the Oblivians, immense with the Compulsive Gamblers, and superb with this other magnificent creation of his.

The third album, wrapped in a fiery red cover and with a title that is nothing short of evocative, is a masterpiece. R&B, Soul, Country, Gospel, but all stuffed, displayed, and sprinkled with that sensible and quirky Rok N Roll style of the Oblivians: perfect!

A bomb of a piece...

No Side to Fall In Not me who literally discovered two days ago that this is the opener of the album and not 'Fairytale in a supermarket'

Keith Levene - Cops Too

Got to Go Back

From one of Van The Man's two/three most beautiful albums
(which is to say among my favorite records of all those I've ever listened to or will listen to)

Cosa sono le nuvole I like how he sings. The words like a blade.

Comateens - Ghosts (1981)
Here’s the spectral funk of Saturday night, a pinch of Nile Rodgers and Bela Lugosi, and before the Bontempi rides its hostile Opa.

PIL - Albatross (Remastered 2009)
Keith Levene has left us :(

The Wailers - Out Of Our Tree

The Essential Albums: “OUT OF OUR TREE” (d)

“Hang Up and Out of OUR Tree were destined from the start to lay the foundations for punk sounds, particularly thanks to an absolutely devastating use of Sun Buzz. A totem for the rawest and most abrasive garage bands twenty years later. If it had all been at that level, we would be talking about the definitive garage-rock album… unfortunately, it’s not. Because often the desire to sell surpasses the willingness to take risks. Ending up alternating screams of fear with yawns of boredom.”

Already Rev… but those there… (45)… ZZ…
Let’s also close with the (Fabulous) Wailers…
