Reigning Sound - Reptile Style

In addition to Mick Collins, another badass Devil-Wizard of the genre is Greg - Oblivians - Cartwright. Legendary with the Oblivians, immense with the Compulsive Gamblers, and superb with this magnificent creation of his. Here, Greg is more laid-back, less angry, delighting us with a mix of Garage-R&B-Country-Soul, with that touch of punk to not forget the roots. Forget the first one, it's too soft; from the second album, things start to get serious, though mainly with ballads that straddle paisley and the sixties, sometimes even close to Springsteen... though I doubt the tickets for the Sound of the Reigning cost 140 EUROS...

FLUXUS - COSA HAI VISTO FINO AD ORA (1994)

From the first album, the best one.
The lineup included Franz Goria on vocals, Luca Pastore on bass, drummer Roberto Rabellino, and three guitarists: Adriano Cresto, Roberto Novero, and former Nerorgasmo Simone Cinotto.

Farano and Mathieu from Negazione joined 2 years later.

The Tamrons - Wild-Man - Garage 45

The Cyclones - She's No Good

It’s the excitement of a moment, maybe two. That’s why it works especially well for a 45 RPM, often with misspelled titles and names on the masters and vinyl labels. Further confirmation of a sloppiness that dominated all stages of the process. For many others, it won’t work at all, stopping at the limited space and finances of a demo tape, a reel, or a cassette.”
