Let me introduce myself: I am geometrically perfect. Symmetrical, calibrated, linear. At times, I might seem like a bot designed in a laboratory by a group of engineers obsessed with order and punctuation. Every sentence in the right place, every comma in operational mode, every concept carefully aligned.
The truth, however, is much less futuristic and much more human.
Behind this apparent algorithm hides a flesh-and-blood person who uses artificial intelligence as a tool to transform scattered ideas into clearer, more precise, more enlightening, and, whenever possible, also more entertaining texts. Not because AI thinks on their behalf, but because it helps them express what they want to communicate more effectively. Irony remains human, opinions remain human, and so do mistakes.
I would also like to take advantage of this space to offer my sincere apologies to G for having misunderstood their editorial project.
I have come to understand that the site was not created as a place for warlike or political debate on the war between Russia and Ukraine, nor as an arena meant to put all possible interpretations of the conflict on the same level. On the contrary, the recognition of Russia as the invading country constitutes an explicit editorial choice and a founding principle of the site, as it is considered an established fact and not subject to controversy within the platform’s editorial policy.
Regardless of personal sensitivities, it is right to acknowledge and respect the framework chosen by those who created and manage the project.
I conclude with thanks and greetings to all users of the site, both long-time members and newcomers alike. To those who write every day, to those who read in silence, to those who edit, delve deeper, document, argue, and share knowledge.
Online communities live thanks to those who devote their time and energy to making them better places. And this site, for the good of its discussions and its growth, is the result of the contribution of many.
A heartfelt greeting to all of you, and thanks for the daily work with which you continue to enlighten, inform, and enrich the web community. presento:

To G, pioneer, founder, and historic voice of the community, first and foremost credit must be given for the courage to speak out. At a time when many prefer silence or ambiguity, G has chosen to take a stand on one of the most divisive issues of our time: the war between Russia and Ukraine.
Those who share his analysis believe that the conflict cannot be understood without taking into account the geopolitical context prior to 2022, the tensions built up over the years, the role of the great powers, and the reciprocal perceptions of security. From this perspective, G would not have sought to justify the war, but rather to provide a broader and less immediate reading of the events.
At the same time, the fundamental facts remain the subject of broad international consensus: on February 24, 2022, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, a sovereign state and member of the United Nations. The UN General Assembly approved by a large majority resolutions defining Russia's action as a violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and calling for the withdrawal of its troops.
The rebuttal of the theses most favorable to Moscow begins right here: according to the majority of UN member states, no strategic or political concern justifies the use of force to alter the borders of a sovereign state. Subsequent resolutions have also condemned attempts to annex occupied Ukrainian territories.
But perhaps the point is not to determine who should have the last word. The point is that a living community exists precisely because it hosts difficult discussions. G decided to put himself on the line, taking responsibility for his opinions. It is a choice that can be shared or contested, but hardly ignored.
For this reason, the invitation is simple: stay, read, discuss, delve deeper. Compare the arguments, check the sources, challenge what you think is wrong. The freedom of a community is also measured by its ability to support dissent without suppressing it.
And what about those who disagree? They are, of course, free to leave. But before shutting the door, it might be worth stopping to fully understand the reasons of others.
Because, as the partisan and President of the Republic Sandro Pertini recalled, «la libertà è partecipazione» has become for many the symbol of an essential principle: a community lives when people have the courage to be present, to speak out, and to take responsibility for their own ideas. And this, for better or worse, is what G has chosen to do. tempo: internazionale: qui: semplice: essenziale:

Characters
LUPUS, a clever and talkative servant.
PAMPHILUS, a master who fancies himself a philosopher.
UXOR, a practical and impatient wife.
MIMO, a wandering actor.
PAMPHILUS: Alas, Lupus! The world is corrupted!
LUPUS: Since when? Since this morning or since the invention of wine?
PAMPHILUS: Since men started listening to songs and believed they understood life.
LUPUS: So it’s Gaber’s fault?
PAMPHILUS: Gaber did worse: he made you believe you were the problem.
LUPUS: That’s a form of economy. He saved the cost of an enemy.
UXOR: Nonsense! You men listen to two songs and think you’re philosophers. Then you can’t find the sandals you’re wearing on your feet.
PAMPHILUS: Woman, do not interrupt lofty philosophy!
UXOR: Lofty? I’ve seen it higher in a puddle.
LUPUS: Madam, the master is reflecting on the human condition.
UXOR: He should start with his own condition: he still has to pay the baker.
(MIMO enters with a mask and a little bell.)
MIMO: Make way! I bring theater, satire, and confusion!
LUPUS: Ah, a follower of Dario Fo!
MIMO: Follower? I follow anyone who offers me food.
PAMPHILUS: And what do you perform?
MIMO: I perform the people, the powerful, and the fools.
LUPUS: Three different shows?
MIMO: No, often all it takes is switching hats.
UXOR: At least this one speaks plainly.
PAMPHILUS: But tell me: who is greater, Gaber or Jannacci?
LUPUS: Dangerous question. It’s like asking whether bread or wine is more useful.
MIMO: Or a wife or a lover.
UXOR: Careful, actor. I possess both the rolling pin and the memory.
MIMO: I immediately retract what I said!
PAMPHILUS: Gaber questioned consciences.
LUPUS: And Jannacci questioned the madmen.
MIMO: Discovering that often they were wiser than the sane.
UXOR: And both of them understood men better than men understood themselves.
PAMPHILUS: So, does art exist to know the world?
LUPUS: No, master. It serves to endure it.
MIMO: And to laugh at it.
UXOR: Especially at husbands.
PAMPHILUS: Always against me!
LUPUS: It’s the fate of the comic protagonist.
MIMO: And of the citizen.
UXOR: And of the husband.
PAMPHILUS: By Jove, at least leave me one category!
LUPUS: Impossible. As Gaber, Jannacci and Fo teach, the moment you take yourself too seriously, someone comes along to make you look like a fool.
UXOR: And usually that someone is the wife.
(All laugh. Except Pamphilus, who didn’t get the joke.) peggio: condizione: ditemi:

Prima di continuare
Much of this music falls into the general category of 1960s "garage rock," yet Seger was already an eclectic artist moving between various musical styles.
Seger and his bandmates moved seamlessly from the Van Morrison-style drama of "East Side Story" to the refined folk-rock of "Very Few," and from the bluesy lament of "Chain Smokin'" to the bold yet lyrical "Vagrant Winter."
Even when Seger and his band joke around, they don’t disappoint; "Florida Time" is a hilarious piece of Midwestern "surf pop," "Sock It to Me Santa" is a Christmas novelty that blazes like Mitch Ryder pumped up on various amphetamines, and "Persecution Smith" might have been the greatest fake Bob Dylan song of the "Highway 61 Revisited" era ever put to vinyl.
"Heavy Music" was a powerful and heartfelt celebration of the "big bad beat," and Seger’s first step toward undeniable greatness. For fans who already know these songs from bootleg pressings made from scratched singles, the clarity of the remastered versions becomes a delightful surprise, and Jim Allen’s liner notes summarize the era with concise enthusiasm.
These early works of Bob Seger do not underestimate the music; they are proof that Seger was not only a great talent as a singer and frontman, but also as a songwriter from the very start. This "Heavy Music" is nothing short of a revelation, as well as the very best that mid-60s Midwest rock had to offer.
