I believe that Degregorius doesn't know the artist Gaetano at all, and therefore neither his works. Otherwise, it wouldn't make sense how he could have written such nonsense! I really can't explain it! Of course, it could also be that he wasn't able to grasp the messages of his songs, because if you stop at the melody and the words without making an effort to understand, then yes, they might seem like carefree little songs (and this is where his genius lies), but don't take offense, I don't think this applies to you; I just think it’s ignorance towards this great artist.

In my humble opinion, Rino Gaetano was slightly superior to De Gregori because I find his lyrics much more genuine and true compared to De Gregori's, where sometimes his texts seem too studied. Even though it's difficult to compare them, as the former was more biting and irreverent, while the latter is more poetic, it really depends on personal taste. I would say that in Rino's genre, he was number 2 after Gaber, and in De Gregori's genre, he was number 2 after De André.

But I don't want to compare Queen with Dream Theater; jokingly, Dream Theater are referred to as the poor man's Queen, because it's said that everyone who loves Dream Theater also loves Queen, and because the band has strong musical influences, and in some songs, it almost borders on plagiarism. Anyway, I also like Dream Theater.

Dream Theater are one of the most influenced bands by Queen ever! I agree with you that the musicians in Dream Theater are much more technical and skilled at playing, but they are lacking in creativity (which is what matters most). As for Freddie, well, he was a sacred monster and should not be touched.
