THE PREQUEL: Or rather, the Vietnam War. The man Frank Castle began to go insane while commanding his squad, going so far as to kill some of his fellow soldiers or officers in a ruthless and almost ironic manner. About how much he enjoys the war and how the blood spilling from the corpses he has killed excites him. This slow madness characterizes him and will transform him into the one who, one day, will call himself the Punisher.

After a few years, Frank Castle and his wife Maria, with their little children Lisa Christie and Frank David, have a family picnic in Central Park. But they become victims of a shootout between rival gangs. His wife and children die, and he is believed to be dead. But that’s not the case. Frank Castle returns with a crazy idea: to kill the responsible ones. Done and dusted. The members of the Costa family die, and Frank can claim that his mission was successful.
