Six Organs Of Admittance Ascent
Voto:
No wait, "It's written Six Organs of Admittance but it's read as THE BEST ALBUM by Comets On Fire." I don't know what caused this shift in style, whether it’s just a bit of fun with former bandmates or the feeling of not having much left to say with the old sounds. The fact remains that, unlike the previous one, this one I liked to pieces. As far as I'm concerned, there are more than one dispensable albums (is that how you say it?) in his vast discography; this may not be essential, but I still find it quite something. P.S.: I like the "gico della gemma" by silaslang; as far as I'm concerned, he gave his best on the untitled one from 2004.

Based on the review and the comments, I believe I've understood that "non io" remains their best. If I'm wrong and this one is better, someone correct me so I can immediately go get it.

I wrote a review like this a while ago that was definitely more shit. I don’t know the album, so other than saying it’s good: thank you.

Depeche Mode Speak & Spell
Voto:
I don't know, I love Depeche Mode but this one and the next two I find almost unlistenable, this one in particular. They start to shake my ass and my synapses with some great reward.
Sam Mendes Skyfall
Voto:
I really like Mendes, but as I said before, I don't give a damn about Craig's Bond. In the end, I saw this yesterday for various reasons (various reasons... there were just two, one was named "Sam" and the other "Mendes"). Splendid. No, seriously, as far as I'm concerned, the best Bond since Never Say Never Again. When you can't compete with the original, reference it and strip it of its essence. Reference it to the max: pretend to be Tarantino making even non-Bond fans go crazy (when he goes back to Scotland - Christ in Scotland! - how can you not enjoy it like crazy?... there's one parenthesis too many, who cares, this film deserves it all). Then I still don't care about Craig's Bond and I don't think I'll watch any more. The best of all that he's done and could do, I've just seen it. Seriously, I'm at a loss for words. One thing crossed my mind while reading the comment that mentions The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (another film I refuse to watch and will probably end up seeing and appreciating, but let's hope not): Fincher was supposed to direct Skyfall, then the production said: no, let's give it to Mendes, and Fincher responded (almost word for word) "I didn't know Bond films were theater dramas..." Mendes needs just the first 15 minutes to screw Fincher and his statements, then spends the remaining two hours keeping it on his lap and telling him: look, kid: no hands! To Fincher, not to Neri Parenti. Good review. However, I think you take too few risks and this film deserved a bit more courage (and don't talk to me about hype: I repeat, I didn't even want to get close to it; it was a slap in the dark).
Carlo Buti Bella Ragazza

Carlo Buti, the one who made Facetta Nera famous. I've said everything I had to say about him. Nice review, what a shame.

just two because you're good and you can't pass this crap off as something from earth. rather it sounds like the master musicians of bukkake who forgot their instruments at home and are trying to play randomly with children's toys. Oh my God, maybe on a second listen it all becomes beautiful, but I can't do it. P.S. I have no idea what free jazz is, but I already know it has nothing to do with this record.
