"Terrorizer", a hard 'n heavy magazine. Issue 228, on the cover... Lacuna Coil... Yes, Lacuna Coil, metal for teenagers drooling over porn stars shaved like newborns and models with dry breasts.
Home, Terrorizer! I like the soaked hair that leaves the face drenched in moods, I like the flesh to grab between hands, I like wide hips and warm thighs. I'm no longer 15, I don't know what to do with a scalpel.
The magazine even has a cassette that completely covers the photo of the main band it wants to talk about. I look at the cassette and, Bam: "Electric Wizard; Legalise Drugs & Murder" reissue (maybe) with 4 bonus tracks.
Come here, Terrorizer! Now I buy you, unwrap you, take the cassette and then leave you next to the little mice by the toilet...
The tracklist:
01. Legalise Drugs & Murder
02. Satyr IX (4-Track Demo)
03. Murder & Madness
04. Patterns Of Evil (Remixed Version)
05. Lucifer (We've Gone Too Far)
06. Our Witchcult Grows...
I haven't listened to it yet, it doesn't matter: it's the Wizard.
The original EP (the one with only "Legalise..." and "Murder & Madness") didn't drive me crazy. But it's the Wizard, and here you'll find soggy juices, hot riffs, atmospheres to squeeze under your fingertips, and pubic hair galore.
I'm finishing up my business. On the floor among a pile of 20-year-old little mice emerges the very lacquered face of Cristina Scabbia. I look up and see the really poor cover of the cassette that I still hold in my hands: Oh, I like screwing, you do as you prefer.
Ah, yes, Terrorizer indeed dedicated the cover to the Electric Wizard, but as I wrote before, I like screwing and I couldn't care less about the long-winded discussions about artists who play.
And there it still is, Terrorizer, between an eighteen-hundred-something mouse and a random issue of Uncle Scrooge, waiting to be thrown in the recycling. Deluded, it absorbs more piss than a rag with half a Metallica logo (come on, even your mothers have turned your thrash past into rags, admit it).
