It's true, my girlfriend is right: I could start listening to music in a bit more of an orderly fashion. I'm not saying it's necessarily a bad thing to listen only to music that's available for free, and I'm certainly not going to hide that it's the sounds developed over the last fifteen years by post-rock and neo-psychedelia that kept me glued to the internet with a pair of earbuds implanted in my ears, but dear boy, you're getting too old for all these distortions and volumes.

It should therefore be customary, having reached this point, in the middle of an age that just thinking about gives you vertigo, to abandon the obsessive noise and the soundscapes that furnish the void in a mind illuminated by an artificial paradise. These have been free for six records and three years, if I wore a tie every morning, I wouldn't even know they exist.
And I would even like to grow up, so I try to spruce myself up with a suit, a tie, and the latest single of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. But then I discover it's not me being too young, it's the rest of the world that's gotten foolishly dumb. And so it's fine like this, with the self-produced t-shirts with little characters from old video games, the dissatisfied girlfriend, and forty minutes awake and attentive stuffed into the ears.
Not necessarily original, I don't ask to always meet new people with new ideas, I'm fine even with the old ones (maybe I'm becoming a bit old myself), I just need them to be told with the spirit of someone not interested in pleasing everyone at all costs.
In the end, I like those who entertain while having fun, and when someone has fun, you can see it. And you can hear it.

It's true, my girlfriend is right: I could start listening to music in a bit more of an orderly fashion. By that point though, I'm afraid it would be consistent for me to also stop taking her from behind in front of a mirror while we smoke weed.
So sorry, what are we talking about?
We have an entire life to grow old and get stupid, as long as it works (for you or your man) choose your music by yourselves.
