Beatles Abbey Road
Voto:
Beautiful review, but be careful. Abbey Road is all MCCARTNEY with a sprinkle of Harrison (at a very high level) and some incursions from the genius of Lennon, who, however, was distracted, absent, unengaged. You can't dedicate more space to "I want you" than to the final stretch of side B, the most exhilarating, unmatched moment in the history of pop music (for ME, of course), which is driven by the creativity and enthusiasm of Paul for 85%!!! Then you forgot <<Oh darling>>, where Paul screams like an eagle on the hunt. In short, it's a shame because you shouldn't overlook anything from such an album. What sounds, what atmospheres, what ideas. LISTEN TO IT!

From the nice review, you manage to convey, albeit unintentionally, that the album isn't great even for you... but that's okay only because you're a fan. You would be more credible, then, by giving the CD a slightly lower rating, which I wouldn't buy even if forced (but I respect others' tastes, of course). I don’t rate it because I don’t know it (and I’m not even interested). For me, good old Max is a bit like Cristina D'Avena, meaning he’s harmless. Anyway, it’s always better to be harmless than harmful... Bye!

The brave young girl. If she had written "sun heart love," with that last name, she would have made it big. The weak point of the album are sometimes the lyrics, for me, and her tendency to take herself a bit too seriously overall. The review is good but not very detailed about the songs.

I'm responding to NOFAKE: that link goes to MY site, so it's self-promotion! I agree with Gino about the Alfetta... but it's often not easy to understand what good Silvestro means (a hardcore communist to the bone).

Hi! I also slammed the album.. but perhaps with tones a little less disrespectful towards the man and the artist. Anyway, if you listen to it enough, you can find some sense (very distant) in it... of course, that's not enough. Paul is Paul, so let him be Paul! (I would just need 1 new flowers in the dirt..)

Guys, pay attention. Look at how much people like this are needed! To understand that the water is good, you need to be very thirsty! So, by listening to Meneguzzi, you become so thirsty that even Britney Spears seems like a deity... anyway, let's always remember that it's a commercial product for fourteen-year-olds. Music and art are elsewhere, thank God.

Is there anyone who can tell me the one important thing? What is the purpose of Massimo Di Cataldo? What added value does he bring to Italian music? I even find him likable... but we're at a Lolly pop level.

Run everyone to listen to Dado. Alas, the inspiration of Silvestri stopped there. But banality and "me fece mele a chepa" are absolutely valid. But at the Silvestri concert, he is great. To the review... a little more courage! For better or worse. This way, it’s a bit flat. Why can’t I manage to like "aria"? My love, I don’t mind, there’s a funky guitar interlude... Bye. Some comments seem to be made by animals. A bit of education wouldn’t hurt. Beautiful that one about the island in the sea of...

You understand, of course. It shows. But perhaps you're also a bit too confident, though from certain points of view that’s not a bad thing. I would just take it a bit more calmly, just because the world says the opposite of you and therefore to avoid challenging it. I agree with some of your criticisms, especially with the two above that say Revolver and Abbey Road are of a higher level. But guys... when two legends like Jimi Hendrix and Frank Zappa bow at the feet of the baronets in front of this apocalyptic production, you can only think that maybe it’s not that bad... as for A Day in the Life, I would just say this: what about the atmosphere? Tell me whatever you want, but that song has something magical about it. I invite you to www.the4fabs.com, where I write more about the Beatles' discography.
Rock on!!!

I'm replying to Cornell: To understand what I mean by a powerful voice, go listen to the following in order: Long Tall Sally, Oh Darling, I'm Down, Helter Skelter, etc. (but the first one alone would be enough...). Then check out Arrow Throw Me and his cover of Heartbreak Hotel or Baby's Request, and honestly tell me if it still sounds like the same singer to you. Let me know what you think. Thanks for the comment, bye.
I invite nofake to my review of Memory Almost Full and everyone else to www.the4fabs.com.
Bye!!!
