We have shamelessly ignored the third pillar of our local music. Introverted, seemingly distracted, Meneguzzi communicates through music, rhythm, melody, dance, body. A complete artist, firmly determined to cultivate the difficult art, even if seemingly simple, of "Let me entertain you!". Let's move on to his latest work: "Favola". It represents the creative sum of our entertainer artist.
From the very first notes, the album captures you, takes you, enchants you with its thousand shades until it brings you to the brink of a semi-comatose state, a fairy tale indeed. I will never forget the pure beauty of some verses set like pearls in an exquisite melody: He is no longer afraid to be with her Now he knows that she is his life She is no longer afraid of him leaving Now she knows that he is her path With "Non Capiva Che L'Amavo", "Momenti Soli", and "Regalami Un Fiore", Meneguzzi sets a milestone for all those who want to follow in his footsteps: achieving a resounding victory at the Vina del Mar Festival in Chile with a song entitled "Arià Ariò", writing every month for an abominable magazine for teenage girls, serving in the Italian Singers' National Team, being the only Italian invited to the Fox Kids Channel Festival in Amsterdam, having the coolest website on the net (uahauah here I really can't help myself), participating twice consecutively in the Sanremo Festival!
Well, what can I say, I'm nauseated. To get over it, all I can do is indulge in a hearty laugh, alas. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
