During a remarkable period of "welcome back pippe" - I admit I was feeling uninspired - I listened to, (re)discovered, garage bands full of soul and blood with, as usual, a wide range of influences from beat to punk, from psychedelia to R&B - from power pop to folk, from rockabilly to mod, even soul and even hard rock. In short, the essence of Rock and Roll from true beasts to the wild scream of "fuck your incredibly virtuoso and fast scales and your fucking 4-octave vocal range." In short, finding young kids in recent years who throw some high-quality albums your way is not easy. The garage-beat-folk-psychedelic of the era is there but, especially in recent times, with something "modern," more ethereal, less rigid. The usual early Rolling Stones or Beatles, the little ones Crawdaddys and the class of We The People… stuff more suited for @[luludia] than for me in the most “airy” cases… but here, at the debut, the garage vibe is definitely present…

There will also be a cover of Psycho Killer featuring Victoria from Maneskalkin on bass. We’ll have to wait and see; this is the single that precedes the release.

Of course, if I were asked why I cannot write a review here, I would reply that everything has already been written: even before it happened.
Moreover, I fear I’ve figured out the secret identity of @[GrammarNazi], which makes me think that Peter Parker is Clark Kent without glasses, even though Steve Ditko illustrated him with them.
But anyway, you know everything about this masterpiece by this incredibly high Australian, I know.
I prefer the one with PJ, but out of spite, I’ll post this one.
Ps. Can we agree that when it comes to love and murders, Nicolino knows a lot?

Among the participants in the recording of this great single by Elly Meyer, an unfortunate Indian musician transplanted to England, are Drachen Theaker, drummer of Arthur Brown's Crazy World before Carl Palmer, then for a couple of years with the post-"Forever Changes" Love, and later, among many other things, usurper of the name "High Tide" for an interesting project with his wife, a singer also from India, in which he involves his longtime friend Tony Hill, bless his soul.
