August 1984, Marina di Ragusa, disco: the summer slow song Eyes without a face, and everything else (Flesh for fantasy, Catch my fall on loop everywhere) if you were 17 at the time, then forgotten. Not long ago my buddy tells me: do you want it? I have an extra copy (yes, he’s “worse” than me but he started when vinyls were given as gifts…). But of course, I have this gut feeling that I like him, and then an extra vinyl!
Listened to today: sure it’s a more commercial product than Billy and it’s soaked in 80s production but it has an incredible guitar and a killer rhythm section and Billy sings with attitude. In short, even a product I remembered as poor is not that bad after all. A clear sign of senile progress.
