Oceansize - Women Who Love Men Who Love Drugs these blended together with incredible mastery psychedelia, post-rock, space rock, emo melodies from the golden age, and just the right amount of metal.. among the most underrated of the new millennium. best listened to on headphones at high volumes.

Discs of Life #7 Pixies - Debaser There isn't even a full album for this one, so the choice of song seems obligatory. If I had to pick one between "Surfer Rosa" and this, I would go with this because it's a truly incredible masterpiece of eclecticism; it moves in so many different directions and each piece is something unique. The first time I heard it, I didn't understand a thing; it has no coordinates, it’s pure imagination, a beautiful kaleidoscope, there's everything in it. One of the most beautiful (and influential in the subsequent decade, if we want to mention that) records of the 80s to perfectly wrap up the decade.

April 5th, the fateful date of grunge. I got to know both of them with their respective unplugged sessions, especially with these two songs. First Kurt, in 1994, then Layne around 2000. I can't say what it was that clicked, but their music changed my life. Nirvana - About A Girl (MTV Unplugged) Brother - 2 (Alice in Chains MTV Unplugged)
