    Let me say that I completely agree with the "exhortation to translators" on your blog. The examples provided are unsettling considering the amount of translated books I read.

      Thank you for taking the time to read it! Yes, it's clear that translation work is challenging, and if out of ten thousand words there are two or three mistakes, it's not that significant on a "statistical" level. However, in some cases, the quality is truly low, and it's striking that publishing doesn't invest either in skilled translators (in many cases, not all) or in thorough revision work.
