I get up from the table.
I call myself out of the game.

I don't know the people
In your framed photo
If I ever loved you, oh no, no
It's such a pity
If I ever loved
If I'd known your name

You don't need a lawyer
I'm not claiming anything
You don't need to give up
I'm not taking aim

I don't need a lover, no, no, no
The abject beast is tamed
I don't need a lover
So turn off the flame

No one is missing
There's no prize
Little by little
Let's cut the rope

We're spending the treasure, oh no, no
That love can't afford
I know you can feel it
The sweetness restored

I don't need a reason
For what I've become
I have my excuses
They're tired and weak

I don't need forgiveness, no, no, no
There's no one left to blame
I get up from the table
I call myself out of the game

I get up from the table
I call myself out of the game

Oh my god, what a drug the Dipset is?!?! I had never really listened to them before, but this week I studied them well. Damn. I'm hooked. Cam'Ron - Hey Ma ft. Juelz Santana Here Juelz was 19/20 years old, crazy. But it's everything, the style with the custom Dipset NBA jerseys, the baggy clothes, the bandana under the snapback. Such nostalgia.

Led Zeppelin - I'm Gonna Crawl
25/9/80 John Bonham dies in his sleep, choking on his own vomit. The three LZ meet in November to discuss their future as a band. They unanimously decided that they could not continue under those circumstances. Grant fully agreed. John Henry was gone, and no one could replace him in the musical chemistry and especially as a friend.
"We wish to announce that the loss of our dear friend and the deep sense of respect we hold for the family have led us to decide that we cannot continue as we did before." This fact, I remind myself, is what initially connected me to them even before I heard them. The genuine sense of camaraderie, friendship through thick and thin after 12 years of life together, of arguments as happens between "brothers." The only band that did not continue and/or replace a member. It is perhaps no coincidence that my other favorite band is the Doors.
