... Zeppstory 1979: "in Through The Out Door"/Knebworth Festival part one. 1979 starts off on a quieter note; the Zepp continue to shuttle back and forth from Stockholm to finish the new album. If "Presence" is Page's album, the new record is essentially Jones and Plant's. The group in Stockholm is divided into two: Plant and Jones arrive at the studios early in the morning (although most of the time they spend downing liters of Pimm's), while Page and Bonham show up late at night. The release gets delayed to coincide with the Knebworth concerts that were being organized, but then due to a strategic miscalculation (a rare occurrence for them), it ends up coming out the week after. No big deal, the anticipation was so high that the new album is welcomed ecstatically, soaring to the top of all the world charts. In America, the album represents a true lifeline for the stagnating record industry with crowds.

Toxic, whores and pimps
Demons around my bed
There’s no choice and there’s no difference
And no one seems to notice
Sometimes I feel like I’m screaming
Sometimes I feel like I can’t win
Sometimes I feel like I was born
To die in your arms in Berlin
Intoxicated by orchids
Abandoned in the garden
Asking for morphine for communion
Because my soul is burning
Sometimes I feel like I’m screaming
Sometimes I feel like I can’t win
Sometimes I feel like I was born
To die in your arms in Berlin
Left hanging in sweet embraces
Breathing the pale silver moon
Tasting the last drops of life
From the sweet lips of a shemale
Sometimes I feel like I’m screaming
Sometimes I feel like I can’t win
Sometimes I feel like I was born
To die in your arms in Berlin
