David Bowie - Zeroes, 2018 (Official Audio)
The remastering operation of the Bowian catalog continues (in October, the fourth box set will be released featuring the albums from 1983 to 1988), and it seems they have gone back to the tracks of "Never Let Me Down" to create a "rework" with brand new mixes and arrangements. I'm not a fan of these kinds of operations, but considering the questionable (to put it mildly) quality of the original, I’d say they can only make it better...

WEEK OF STRANGE FRUIT

Billie Holiday - I'm A Fool To Want You

Perhaps, with "Strange Fruit", the interpretative peak of Lady Day, a song without "crescendo", only dense with a despair without resolution, a certainty of the futility of an impossible feeling, written by Frank Sinatra (with Joel Herron and Jack Wolfe), likely in the aftermath of his failed relationship with Ava Gardner from which he struggled to emerge.
Holiday made it her own and understood it in that record monument which is "Lady In Satin".....

Old Time Relijun - Tigers In the Temple
I didn't quite understand if they are recording something new or not. If worse comes to worst, there's lost light.
