Hole - Malibu I’ve never been a big fan of Hole, but I’ve listened to this track and this album over and over again to the point of exhaustion. It always puts me in a good mood...night

I forgot to buy the ticket, but thanks to the magical skills that are so innate to me, I managed to position myself (with nonchalance) in front of the paying customers... at least I was there for the bis&tris! ... And I'm still in love 😍

HOW TO RUIN A CAREER, ANGLOPHONE SECTION, vol. 4: Eric Clapton

(Derogation from the usual review of Italian talents, groups or soloists. This time we’re going Anglophone, in short, shall we say it or not that it’s not only in the Boot that musical careers are completed in a disgraceful and undignified manner that once paved the way for everyone?)

Dear friends, welcome to the tenth block of a whimsical little column that, I warn you, should be taken in small doses and on an empty stomach. Inspired by some excellent DeBaser fans who occasionally have the hobby of sticking two fingers down their throat, here I am proposing a few carefully chosen listens regarding the disgusting side of the output of some Anglophone groups or solo artists who have truly made Music History, offering, once upon a time, quality music with potentially international flair, only to fall into the mire of a low-quality discography that renders them, for the most part, unrecognizable to the ears of their former fans.

Let’s blow the stinking trumpets, let’s go...

A couple of listens to demonstrate how even Slowhand, whom I count among my absolute favorite Artists, spent a middle age, roughly coinciding with the '80s/'90s, consciously demolishing, through a discography worthy of a half-worn landing sock, all the good, great, essential things he had built between the early '60s and the mid-'70s. I won’t remind you of his merits nor will I list the seminal groups he was a part of that contributed to the refreshing of the blues and its hybridization with rock to make it a unique genre....

Off we go with the heave.
Eric Clapton - Hold on.

(Derogation from the usual review of Italian talents, bands, or solo artists. This time we are going with the Anglophone, come on, shall we say that not only in Italy are musical careers carried out in an unworthy and disgraceful manner that once paved the way for everyone?)

Dear friends, welcome to the tenth installment of a pleasant little column that, I warn you, should be taken in small doses and on an empty stomach. Inspired by excellent DeBaser users who occasionally indulge in a bit of self-induced vomiting, here I am to present a few selected listens concerning the disgusting side of the output from some Anglophone groups or solo artists who truly made their mark in Music History, once offering quality music with potentially international appeal, only to later descend into the mire of a subpar discography that left them mostly unrecognizable to the ears of their former fans.

Let the foul trumpets sound, here we go...

A couple of listens to demonstrate how even Slowhand, whom I count among my all-time favorite Artists, went through a middle-age phase roughly coinciding with the '80s/90s, during which he deliberately set about demolishing, through a discography worthy of a ragged landing sock, all the good, excellent, and let’s say, indispensable work he had built between the early '60s and the mid-'70s. I won’t remind you of his merits nor will I enumerate the seminal bands he was part of, which helped refresh the blues and hybridize it with rock until it became a unique genre....

Be warned, this one is really awful.
