      Yes, I am, for almost a lifetime. But the image is part of a sketchbook, sketches made with a rapidograph (retrieved from my library which is also something else) by another person. I don't use this technique. @[ALFAMA] not

    Hi.
    Actually, I think rankings are a bit of a waste of time, because they are always made according to subjective tastes, and it would probably be difficult to be completely objective.
    I’ve only included 5 bands, which in my opinion are the ones that have produced more albums of a certain level, but above all because after a while I don’t know who else to rank before or after 😜.
    I adore 2 albums by Caravan, a couple by Camel, and almost everything by Traffic, although I find it hard to classify them among the progressive bands. Many also include Pink Floyd among the progressive groups, probably rightly so, but I am rather schematic and “taliban” in my musical ideas, as my partner reminds me... for me Pink Floyd are and always will be a psychedelic band... I don’t particularly like Marillion, whom I have always considered a bit of clones of Genesis, but you know, returning to the initial discussion, in the end: de gustibus...
    Anyway, it’s nice to know that I pique some interest in someone.
    I think you deserve to be my first beloved of the site. 😜

      Thank you for the Bël comment! I return the favor with Amal_! Initially, Marillion had several points in common with Genesis... but later they developed a more personal and original musical style, still, it's a matter of tastes. 😊
