The Pogues - The band played waltzing matilda can be said to be the Australian national anthem. I've always liked it, and even more the title. As English subjects(!) they participated and died in war.

... and best wishes to the Brazilians!

Ralph Nielsen & The Chancellors - Scream!!

The Mystics - Snoopy - Garage 45

It’s the excitement of a moment, perhaps two. That’s why it works especially well for a 45 RPM, often with titles and names misspelled on the masters and the labels of the vinyl. Further confirmation of a carelessness that dominated every phase of the process. For many others, it won’t work at all, stopping at the limited space and finances of a demo tape, a reel, a cassette.”

The Leaves-Hey Joe

“If the Northwest had Louie Louie, the Southeast had Hey Joe. Undeniably, these were the two songs that above all others carved the abs of American garage bands in the mid-sixties, whether they had a more beat-oriented sound or one leaning towards acid rock or folk rock. It seems that David Crosby was the one who took Hey Joe for a stroll down the Sunset Strip, after learning it directly from Dino Valenti, who claims it as his own despite the controversy with the alleged author Billy Roberts, who registered the rights on January 12, 1962, never having been clarified.”

The Leaves will be the first to record it, paving the way for over 1500 future covers, in their stunning debut album.

Soft Machine - Moon In June
Yet, once I had a file of this gigantic piece that featured more "rich" instrumental textures, less "minimal"... is it possible? Is this the version that you all have or not? What a bad trip...
