Bantam Rooster - In The Manner To Which I'm Accustomed

And still from Micigaann, here are these two (former) lads who devastated - with just a few close friends - the soul with a Garage-Punk-Blues-LoFi sound. Unfortunately, three only, bone-crushing albums for nobles endowed with filthy and pulsating sensitivity. They didn’t achieve success, but they made me feel “happier”…

Book of the Key

#unaltrochesiannoiavapoco

A semi-serious journey through the discography and the countless collaborations of Tony Levin, in almost chronological order.
2015 Tony Levin & Anthony Curtis - Book of the key

David Guetta & Bebe Rexha - I'm Good (Blue) [Official Music Video]

A great remixed classic, to be enjoyed at a prohibitively loud volume (or even with the speakers off).

I Was Away GILLA BAND " Most Normal " LP 2022 #Mybest Excellent work always a notch beyond noise hysteria, tribal industrial rhythms, a brash voice alternates with electric razor-sharp sounds. And yet everything moves with grace, leaving a mark like a hammer hit on a thumb.

Repossession Blues - Bob Dylan the perfect balance.

the aztex - i said move

The Nomads - Be Nice(1966).

It's the excitement of a moment, maybe two. That's why it works especially for a 45 RPM record, often with titles and names distorted on the masters and the labels of the vinyl. Further confirmation of a carelessness that dominated all phases of the process. For many others, it won't work at all, getting stuck in the limited space and finances of a demo tape, a reel, a cassette."

Jethro Tull - My Sunday Feeling

First track of the first album. The debut.

The Cavemanish Boys - Remember This Time

This time I disagree with the Reverend. This is a great album, loaded onto a flash drive yesterday and blasting through the speakers in the car this morning. I don't know who suggested it to me with a listen or I don't know what...

DEMOLITION DOLL RODS-Raw

But from Micigaan, especially from Ditroiit Micigaan… is there anyone who sucks??!! Naaaaiiinnn!!! Another great band with that lovable delinquent Dan Groha (Gories) accompanied by two terribly Ruock sisters. Garage-glam-punk… the usual second course that fills you up while leaving you light as a feather, savansadir.

What a track!!! Unfortunately, I can’t find much about this wonderful album…

I almost forgot, back there at the mixer are Mick Collins and John Spencer…

The Seeds - Up in Her Room

So how can you not take the advice of the SoulMan and treat yourself to a listen from the second album (wonderful), with a mind-blowing track...

Imasoulman - Il Reverendo - IlConte (50)

Back on the Chain Gang I didn't know this version of good Moz!

Without You - The Plateros

Hey, redskin to whom?

Yep Yep MOIN "Paste" LP 2022 Strange work, even if it's an out-of-fashion term, I would define it as
#postrock.
A hypnotic rhythm line and the metronomic insertion of phrases, field recordings, distortions, together generate a piece that could go on for hours. A simple idea but well-constructed, and it works without becoming boring. Clearly, the fun is in its brevity.

reigning sound - drowning

Besides Mick Collins, another beautiful bastard Devil-Wizard of the genre is Greg - Oblivians - Cartwright. Legendary with the Oblivians, immense with the Compulsive Gamblers, and superb with this other magnificent creation of his.

The third album, wrapped in a fiery red cover and with a title that is nothing short of evocative, is the masterpiece. R&B, Soul, Country, Gospel but all filled, exhibited and sprinkled with that sensible and quirky Oblivians-style rock 'n' roll: perfect!

What a beauty, what an album…
