YouTube - Lightnin' Hopkins - Come Go With Me - Lightnin's Blues.mpg.flv version for posh white folks: straightened hair, blazer, and the old-fashioned audience all still and composed!
old sly fox

Sam Martin - All My Tears (Official Audio) a new ecclesiastical hit! since 1500 at the top of the charts! (but it's beautiful and a lot)

Demolition Doll Rods - Hey You [TV Live] (1/3)

But from Michigan, especially from Detroit, is there anyone who sucks??!! Naaaaiiinnn!!! Another great band with that lovable delinquent Dan Groha (Gories) accompanied by two terribly Ruock sisters. Garage-glam-punk… the usual second course that satisfies you while leaving you feeling light, savansadir.

I went looking for something written about the beginnings of the DDR and found more than I was looking for. In particular, a beautiful article by one Paolo Barone (who the hell knows who that is, savansadir) after seeing them with the Cramps, yes those Cramps at Fillmore West, yes that Fillmore West on Tim Tirelli's site, one of the most crazily obsessed music lovers out there… a junkie for every possible genre. One who, in the mid-eighties, just over twenty, wrote Oh Jimmy, a real compendium on the Zepp (along with a cool homonymous piece), a true chronic addict… and indeed he is nobly exhausted. Then there’s an engaging “Ultima Thule.” a wonderful review by Federico Guglielmi, which begins, "it's useless to deny it: it's groups like the Demolition Doll Rods - two wild sisters with their boobs out, an ex Gories guy dressed like a low-life drag queen - who today take on the difficult task of being the custodians of the unquenchable fire of rock’n’roll. At least of that rock’n’roll….”

It continues splendidly … but you get the idea …

Rebel Music 3 O'Clock Roadblock (1974) - Bob Marley & The Wailers there aren’t many of their tracks that are a bit more 'expanded' than usual; in fact, I can only think of 'Exodus' after this, aside from certain live versions, but those few are really excellent.

Thank you

Strange Days - Juliette Lewis "Hardly Wait"
The Giulietta may not be as beautiful or good as traditional standards suggest, but it really gives me so much blood and gnente...

The Fool On The Hill

You convinced me. These Bitolz seem good...

Thru The Rhythm - Original

The Fundamental Albums: “THE PSYCHEDELIC SOUND of The 13Th Floor Elevators”

“… it’s a paranoid and essentially perverse record… the music of the Elevators is breathless, claustrophobic, and oppressive. As if the doors of that elevator never really opened. Suffocating like a cotton puff soaked in paraffin shoved down the throat. No one smiles in the halls of the thirteenth floor, but it is in the belly of this skyscraper in Austin that the elevator flows, bringing up the most insane and delirious psychedelic music of the sixties.”

Oh I, Rev, I also find it amusing, it’s more compelling than oppressive… these are personal sensations, savansadir.

More than the word (the album is released simultaneously with Psychedelic Lollipop to say) in my opinion, it’s really the sound… what it should say is psychedelic. A word as misused as few others. I cannot define it, let alone… for me, it’s not a genre but an aura that blends with other sounds, granting particular “effects” both to the sound and to the listener.

This is the ALBUM… like few others.
Garage-Beat-R&B and Psychedelia… Psychedelia and Melody perfectly mixed together. Not some guitar effect or a computer randomly thrown together for 5 minutes… that’s crap, not Psychedelia.

My favorite… yes, even that one…

NEMS - HIGHLY FAVORABLE [Official Video] Take the beat of I Shot Ya, place the Barbhathrone in front of the Biggie mural, and end by giving the exact address of your apartment (the detail about the stairs to climb is beautiful).

A year passes, and you’re still alive.

No'we'no'u'real man.
