Ah, you had also written it, pardon me, I'm a bit daft :)) anyway, I knew that the one credited in the CD notes was the Real Johnny Guitar Watson...

Damn, Mr. Green Genes, I missed an inaccuracy in your review... Bloodshot Rollin' Red was indeed Captain Beefheart under a pseudonym, but not Johnny 'guitar' Watson, who was a very famous blues & funk guitarist at that time (he was also one of Zappa's main inspirations). Just being a stickler ;)

Great album.. I also like Evans much more than Gillian as a performer (like Lwis Tollani does); listen to the interpretation of "Anthem" and then compare it with Gillian's high notes and yelps :)
