The wrecking crew changes style and genre, but it doesn’t disappoint at all. Nice proposal.

I don't know her, so I will be more than happy to read your review. I can't wait.
John Zorn Bar Kokhba
Voto:
It's the only album I have by John Zorn, who usually doesn't blow me away, but I must say this one is quite pleasant, with beautiful atmospheres, an album to have. The review is accurate as well. Welcome.

As you rightly say, "the best possible celebration" is to listen to it, because by not doing so, we lose something of life, and above all, we understand music better, of all possible genres.

I listened to it and found it very pleasant; sure, there are some ups and downs, but they are bearable. I also watched the video of a piece (Kenka Joutou), and I must say that she, besides being good, is also very beautiful. Congratulations on the recommendation. The blend of jazz and rock is excellent; it actually seems like a mega evolution of Dirotta su Cuba from the good old days.

Great job as usual JoP, this time I was able to follow you in detail knowing the work even though not in this interpretation. Always impeccable. I also found Flammen by Schulhoff, but I haven't listened to it yet. Take care.

And here we touch upon the very essence of a beautiful period. This album is perhaps, considering the age that allowed me (in terms of available time), the most listened to of my life; I knew all the songs by heart, and now that I was reading the lyrics in the lovely review, I had no trouble remembering them again. Regarding the "revival," I believe it truly only concerns Tainted Love and Say Hello Wave Goodbye (the latter also thanks to David Gray, whose version is beautiful by the way); I haven't heard the other tracks again. Or am I mistaken? Perhaps too hard for this Vatican-esque millennium?
Bill Evans Waltz For Debby

Perfect, and you are a light in all this sad metal. I miss this, but I'll find it again. I recommend, if you don't have it, "Alone" by Bill Evans, which has accompanied many of my nights. In particular, the version of "Never let me go" is a dream.

I fully confirm the ending of your review, three days and I must say that the pleasure increases proportionally to the number of times I listen to it. I find "Nel blu" and "Colosseo/Rosario della Carne" a bit "unpleasant," but absolutely captivating are the others. Congratulations for the quick and accurate assessment.
