Mom, what a shit masterpiece!
Of all the time I spent infatuated with Italian exploitation, the thing I remember best is the stoicism with which I managed to get through not one, but two or even three of the aforementioned films a day (I don't recall any of this, but I can't remember anything, is that the one with the guy in the transparent skull-shaped helmet, or am I mixing it up with the predators of the Omega year - assuming that's what it was titled...? Who knows...). Ideas galore, means always at the bare minimum, and directing skills almost nonexistent (a Bava is born every hundred years...). I don’t know how I did it; I think I still carry the scars. All thanks to Tarantino first and Lenzi later (who "Milano odia..." is among the absolute musts of pulp cinema).

I attended the last concert at lo fi (hate & merda/Piramide di sangue/ovo, which I skipped). There's really not much left in the city that offers good rock. At the level of lo fi, there's nothing. As for the rest: a band I know nothing about, but if they share the stage with 10,000 Russos, a deeper dive is a must.

I try, but these are sounds that I prefer in instrumental version. That "Growl" frightens me quite a bit, but you never know.

I haven't heard the album, so I don't know how on point the review is, but you've got a Pulitzer-worthy knack!

I miss him/her. Did you get a preview of this too? I liked lonscorso a lot less than second bardo (hoping I’m not confusing things and that second bardo is actually the album I’m thinking of).

Heard it twice and that's it. Liked it a lot, but the "cleaner" voice made me raise an eyebrow a bit. As Decline says, they've toned down the sound, okay, but it remains the record with the heaviest, stretched, and thickest sounds I've heard this year. In the end, it's always the same story: they call themselves "Ufomammut," a name that until yesterday told everything about their proposal, and today... still does.

Next year in America, the film (by the same director) will be released in theaters. It will probably arrive here as well. I found this one hilarious; however, I don’t know if the concept can be successful over 90 minutes of runtime. I believe that a cut to the silliness and a bit of plot to tie the scenes together would be essential. Maybe I'm wrong; we'll see.
