I've never understood the phenomenon surrounding Pearl Jam. They've always been pretty mediocre to me. The only song I like is this one: which will probably be remembered by fans as the most forgettable track in Vedder and company's discography.

I just wanted to say that at his concert I was laughing so hard I almost peed my pants. I don’t know if he’s really crazy or if it’s all an act. For sure, he’s the nicest metalhead I’ve ever seen live. Doesn’t he do metal anymore? Oh well, dear Devin, everyone improves sooner or later! Ah, no, around here they say the album isn’t exactly great... but oh well, Devin, sooner or later we all get a bit daft. Even the mentally ill. But you’re so likable that I give you a 5 in the dark.

All more psychedelic, heavy, and original than you, dear Åkerfeldt. But you are one of those metalheads who, lacking ideas, passes a prog metal album off as '70s psych revival stuff... You’re in the business now, you’re on the bandwagon. I could even avoid getting worked up. Anyway, let me give you a compliment, dear Åkerfeldt. With all the negative things that could be said about Italy and Italians in this historical period, you went and brought up Eros Ramazzotti. Dear Åkerfeldt, sometimes it helps to stay quiet, other times it saves face.
