The last one was embarrassing. Why? I don’t know; I remember having listened to it less than once in full, and it left me with the feeling that I had gone back 15 years to when I used to listen to power and Cradle of Filth (not that it sounded like a power or symphonic black album, but it was all artificially constructed, almost theatrical. Embarrassing, in short…). It seems to me that since Perdition City they have lost their way and have not managed to get back on track. I haven't actually listened to this one yet, but reading that it revolves entirely around Garm's voice (the worst thing about the last album in my opinion) makes me want to skip it.
