This album, even though few know about it, has made history in Italian Oi! and belongs to that group of records which, while not shining for a massive dose of originality, is very pleasing to listen to from time to time.
Hard music, stadium chants, an angry voice capable of perfectly articulating the band's lyrics. This is the explosive mix that makes "Il Leone Ruggisce Ancora" great.
In fact, the band was anti-communist and nationalist but had absolutely nothing racist or Nazi-sympathizing about it. They were just honest boys, tireless workers fed up with a Europe, at the time, placed under the Israeli-American and Soviet yoke. Big-hearted Venetian lads who, even in the early '90s, were speaking of realities that are now evident to everyone: immigration, urban decay, terrorism, and unemployment.
Call them "ignorant" but, with hindsight, their blunt realism and foresight are evident.
There are truly beautiful songs on this album: "Ragazzi In Nero," "Lavoro e Dignità," "Giustizia Sociale," and the instrumental "Freiheit." A special mention for "Con Noi o Contro di Noi," which takes the main riff from a Charged GBH song, and "Strateghi del Terrore," with its very agreeable chorus: << Bombe in Israele, bombe su Beirut! Ma bombe qui in Europa non ne vogliamo più!>>.
For the bravest and for those who love sweat and passion.
