Kashmir-Led Zeppelin
1973 HousesoftheholyvsPhysicalGraffiti
As "Houses Of The Holy" was being released, Led Zeppelin was wrapping up their largest European tour following their most intense British tour ever. Just in time for preparations, they kicked off their ninth American tour (one of the most grueling in every sense!) from May 4 to July 29, 1973.
The band broke every possible record, from attendance in Tampa to the earnings in San Francisco for a single concert. The tour concluded with the three famous nights at Madison Square Garden, whose concerts were recorded for the film and LP "The Song Remains The Same." Just from the faces of the four captured during those nights, we can see how the exhaustion of that tour—combined with all the previous ones—had drained the entire band, crew included. Of course, by "tour fatigue," I mainly refer to the surrounding events leading up to the concerts.

IVANO FOSSATI - LINDBERGH
#MyLifeInMusic #1
Shamelessly copying the idea of Hj and Mr. Money, I too start a column where I post my all-time favorite albums, without any particular order. The idea was to publish one album per artist, but for many, I'm not capable of doing that, and I will probably post two as well.
In this album, we find a very different Fossati from his pop-rock beginnings, but an artist who is living in a mystical period reminiscent of some of Battiato's works, gradually testing the waters for Anime Salve with De André.
A beautiful, refined, sweet, and especially ethnic album in some arrangements.
(Unluckily, I couldn't find the whole album on YT)

#spaghetti (19) Damiano Damiani - A Genius, Two Partners, and a Chicken (1975) Terence Hill - Un Genio, Due Compari, Un Pollo - Theme

Directed by Damiano Damiani and featuring Terence Hill in his usual role of the skilled and unpredictable gunslinger. Here he is without Bud Spencer, but still brilliant and cheeky, just as he always knew how to be.

Music by Ennio Morricone.
