Another 10 Krauti, dedicated to @[Pinhead] 9) Tangerine Dream - Genesis [Electronic Meditation]
the big names take the field: Paul Breitner - Hall of Fame - 1970's
Breitner: the most indefinable (Full-back? Midfielder? Forward?), irritating (equally loved and hated as a man and as a footballer), recognizable (you could spot him immediately with that "der afro" hairstyle), anarchic, inconsistent player that the land of the krauts has ever produced.

Sir Lord Baltimore - Kingdom Come (1970) Full Album Great, really beautiful, raw and rough.

Gang of Four - Damaged Goods (HD Audio, Lyrics) What a shame for the Arctic Monkeys and the Killers. I'm not saying this just because of their sound choices (especially for the former, the latter, eh), but because of the flatness of reality itself and the sterile "indie underground market" (apparently indie...)

Darkwood - Caucasian Tales [HD]

Still the great European tradition.

how much passion Chet Baker - Almost blue

The Clash-The Call Up .... a nice listen from an old fogey

'We, kids of today' (18) Myriam Fares Gharouk ميريام فارس غروك
Currently on tour in the UAE, where they are as popular as (if not more than) Madonna.

Captain Beefheart - Tarotplane Talking about Beefheart with @[Dandelion], I was re-listening to this track and I got frozen hearing the bass line for at least half of the entire piece (which is not short). Nice job Frownlandboys.

Diseño & CIA. - El Museo Rijksmuseum de Holanda tuvo una...
The Rijksmuseum in the Netherlands had the idea to bring a Rembrandt painting from 1642, "The Night Watch," into a shopping mall, and they brought its characters to life...

The Verve - A Northern Soul
I've no time for love and devotion.. Too busy staying alive

The Doors Land Ho!
"Jim Morrison & the Doors on the road" (45)
The sea often recurs in the lyrics of James Douglas; after all, the first "poetry in music" was written on that rooftop from which what he admired most was the ocean before him (unlike other interpretations, I think being the son of an admiral has nothing to do with it). Jim and Robby set the piece to resemble a classic sea shanty, "Land Ho," indeed the song sung while the anchor was being raised. A song straight out of a classic American dockside tavern with that country/storyteller vibe: the part I enjoy is the rhythm change from 1:30 to 2:20, simply marvelous.

Timeless, acid.west.coast-rock from an album... phosphorescent! Hot Tuna - Easy Now (1973) [The Phosphorescent Rat] {Japanese Press}

The Shadows - moonlight shadow
and I thought it was all the work of the legendary Mike Oldfield...
