Philip Bailey - Back It Up (1986)
Basically the sister of 'Easy Lover'.
(Phil Collins on drums, Jeff Beck on guitar)

Minute Men--Paranoid Chant People laughing with their teeth out, people with a "soft R," chairs falling over and watered-down beers.

Minutemen - Tension Move your head (and your ass).

Harold Budd & John Foxx - "Subtext"

METAMATHEMATICS WEEK: With Harold Budd, between the most essential Ambient and the influences of Satie....

#OCEANOFSOUND N° 5 this is the classic album considered boring, open a dictionary and it disproves the concept of boredom. Every note of this work is different, digging like a Chinese water torture into the intimate. Always different in nuances, a stone thrown into a pond with circles that are not concentric, circles always in different shapes and in a state of peace, each circle takes the shape of a movement of our soul, always different. Brian Eno - Neroli If for you this is a boring sound, we have different sensibilities.

Johnnie Taylor-Cheaper To Keep Her
Thank you Nobile @[imasoulman], his recommended ā€œpackageā€ is a delight...

#Oceanofsound N°4 novalia - omaggio a tarkovskij Here I found a series of publications from MATERIALI SONORI "Itinerari Oltre Il Suono" Magazine and CD. A little something very interesting that shed light on Italian realities of a sound universe parallel to the real musical world. I don't know if it's better, certainly different. And I have been navigating in the different for almost 20 years now; I feel like an archaeologist of the recent past.

Tarkus - Emerson, Lake & Palmer [1971] (HD) Thank you for letting me throw in the group

#OCEANOFSOUND N° 3 Zbigniew Preisner - Like a Dream I would recommend a listen, surely not minutes wasted. They are the drops that make the horizon of the ocean of sound ever more distant. Indeed, let’s make this ocean even more interesting with your listens as we navigate.

Nirvana- im on a plain lyrics

The chords suggest an infinite descent... dramatically contradicting the title!

@OCEANOFSOUND N° 3 John Cage: Bird Cage (1972) I don't have a rational reason to explain why, with headphones on, I disconnect from the World, immersing myself in this music. Magic? And can words explain Magic? Let's hope that never happens. It would be the end of a dream.

Ella Fitzgerald Ev'ry time we say goodbye (with lyrics)

Jazz Legends (48) Ella Fitzgerald
from "Ella Fitzgerald Sings the Cole Porter Song Book" - 1956 (Verve)

#OCEANOFSOUND N°2 Zbigniew Preisner - Les Marionettes (Extended) A musician I had never heard of until a few months ago, I have no information about him. For how I approach music, the notes are enough; the rest is superfluous. Maybe later I’ll read that this gentleman is worthless, but his music captivated me, and that’s all that matters.

The Ex - Frenzy The vocal lines always remind me of some divine stream of consciousness from Smith of The Fall, but their art punk isn't bad.

Bauhaus - Nerves
My favorite song by Bauhaus, after 'Bela' which is out of the ordinary. I have to listen to them every now and then.
