Todd Tobias & Chloe March - Amialluma Album Teaser
@[proggen_ait94] I couldn't find a complete video of this work, just snippets of tracks. "Ammialluma" from 2018 is a piece that floats in a dreamlike dimension. An ambient landscape plays in the background, with characters seemingly jumping out from "Victorialand" by the Cocteau Twins. Chloe March doesn't sing but improvises using vocal forms devoid of meaning, simple sounds shaped by echoes and vocal tapes artfully spun over the gentle waves of guitars transformed into soundscapes and ambient movements. The album has an aesthetic suspended between the present and 4AD influences. For me, a new name and a pleasant surprise.
