The Doors - Shaman's blues
TSP50 ... too much to say... Could a title be more emblematic considering the time?! Pure Doorsian sound resting on this swing waltz/jazz/blues from master Krieger. But what a woman of the shaman?!... Certainly, the two-faced lyrics can represent both the shaman's reproach to the village that doesn't follow him and/or the village asking for help again from the noble rites of their beloved leader and ā€œsorcererā€...
ā€œI don’t think the shaman is too interested in defining his role in society. He is more interested in chasing his own fantasies. If he were to become too aware of a certain function, I think he might tend to ruin his own inner journey............ā€. One tires for nothing, you don’t understand p, don't analyze, assimilate everything in a wrong way and THEY laugh... slaves, you don't deserve anything else! (Me or him, it's the same)
