Placido Domingo sings: Recondita armonia

Oh, how strange! Iā€™m a painter, I paint (even revolutionary, but weā€™ll talk about that in the next listens). They ask me to paint a Madonna. Now, Iā€™m with one: black hair, black eyes, big breasts. I make the Madonna blonde, blue eyes, small breasts. Because thereā€™s a hidden harmony. I paint this one but think about my woman... What strange things! Oh, try explaining this to your ladies, for instance... letā€™s see if they believe it... (come on, everyone in Rome knows about Angelotti's breasts!).
Ps1: Iā€™m intentionally including a rather mediocre version by Placido Domingo (if I had shown you the KING, you would have been convinced! And you wouldā€™ve pulled out your handkerchiefs too!)
Ps2: I swear that - for my whole life - the useless counterpoint ā€˜play with the infantry and leave the infantry aloneā€™ annoys me. Like, really annoys me physically. I donā€™t know, maybe Puccini was an idiot, but itā€™s good for you to know...

Sway (Original Single Stereo Version)

This fantastic blues-rock track was released as a single only in March '71, but it was composed and recorded a year earlier, between April and May '70 in the "Rolling Stones Mobile Studio", a truck specially outfitted that was parked outside Jagger's home in Stargroves, Hampshire.

Here we find Jagger & Taylor on guitars, while on backing vocals we have Keith Richards along with Pete Townshend and nothing...
