Here: this splendid product has forged our young sphincters.
Today it wouldn’t be needed; and it’s not “Just the word”, just turn on the Machine of Lies. Sigh!

Ah: great Tino Scotti!

Highway Robbery - Promotion Man
Here's the hard blues proto heavy ruffian that makes me cling to the chandelier...1972!

Vinicio Capossela - Che coss'è l'amor

What is le mal de vivre?
Certainly not l'amour, nor anxiety.
Those are things that don't concern us; they rather concern the "others".
Because we don't fall in love, we think we're falling in love, becoming anxious and forgetting that everyone kills what they love: that is, themselves.

Okay. The drug.
A very simple Slovenian herb from the backyard provided to me by a friend not very accustomed to explaining the qualities of the product she sells.

That's just how we are.

...and who would have thought that I would find the masters of Japan in Viterbo, along with many other illustrious names of the Wave. But you know, sometimes the students surpass the masters, or rather, they earn more, and this album by Metro remains a gem for connoisseurs. In 1976, two English gentlemen, with a dandy/elegant disco look, packed a deadly medley of genres and innovations into their first album. The Art Glam experimentation melts into the most glittery Funky, the most refined Folk, or that type of ballad so dear to Roxy Music/10cc. My ears, make a shelter!

I just bought Tago Mago by Can and I feel like I've just purchased the Mona Lisa. I know some eccentric bands, but the concentration of avant-garde, agonizing Blues, cosmic psalms, crooked Jazz, and tribal Funk of this album is nothing short of shocking. After listening to a record like this, it's impossible not to feel different, because the aim of Art is precisely this, despite today's insiders having destroyed it: to transform.
