Step Aside

The Hiss "Clever Kicks"

Georgia, USA, early millennium…

Sometimes tasty but a bit showy indie-alternative… BUT WHEN THEY CLOSE THE DOOR AND LOCK IT IN THE GARAGE, TURN OFF THE LIGHTS AND ARE LEFT WITH ONLY THE STROBES…. MAAADDDD

Humanity is dying and has little left to live. Meanwhile, to get ahead with the work, I present you with a photo of myself to be placed on the tombstone. I also authorize various touches. Good luck.

This piece anticipates the sound of Queen's Innuendo, or at least it always gives me that impression...

Not content with the beauty of the front, the back has us asking why.

Yes, I know that the group of ugly covers has been restored. And I, who have been one of the strongest supporters of that group's revival, should now be wallowing in it as much as possible. But by now, I’ve become obsessed with beautiful covers.
Paz's hand (beautiful as always) is evident. The album is one of the most beautiful ever by the Professor. This, of course, for those who like Vecchioni. For those who don't like him, this album will suck just like all the others from our Man. It was the year 1982...

🔴 Imagine ft. The Flux Fiddlers - E Pino Daniele The Plastic Band Ono Band
For @[cofras] and @[DottorJazz] who were expecting my opinion about the album and the review of "Nero a metà" by Pino Daniele, and to whom, sorry, I won’t be able to respond since the bimbominkia reviewer hates me and prevents me from intervening, I don’t even know why nor do I care. No big deal (2): one less idiot to argue with... No big deal (2): I would have skipped this yet another review of a well-known album anyway, as useful as an anal sphincter on the forearm.
Moreover, I should have reiterated, going against the grain, my little love for both Pino and Daniele! I do not deny their musical value (objectively I couldn’t) but, unfortunately, I dealt with him (even indirectly) and I knew the musicians he played with up to the early albums (and I know how he treated them...). I believe that, in that boiling and richest broth of aromas, music, and genius that was Naples between the aftermath of ’77 and the mid-‘80s, he was simply the smartest and luckiest (and also cynical) and that from that melting pot came out gems and masterpieces often too little known or that never even got recorded. But I risk going on too long and being misunderstood.
However, I’d also like to take this chance to tell @[Dislocation] that my philosophy teacher was a teacher. I remember her well: a young, newly hired novice, clumsy and ignorant like few. She was not very pretty, poor dear, but she dressed in a particularly flashy and unintentionally comical way. I have very fond memories of the laughter we shared at her colorful miniskirts and how she struggled to climb on mirrors every time we, little rascals, asked her some questions or to deepen some topics... Was it really you? How nice to find you again!
