The Cure - One Hundred Years

It doesn't matter if we all die
Ambition in the back of a black car
A story on the radio... a prayer for something better

Waiting for the death blow... fighting for freedom on the television
The death of her father pushing her white face into the mirror
Just like the old days... just like the old days...

Painting a lifeless face, just a piece of new meat in a clean room
The soldiers... all shadows and deliverance under a black flag
A hundred years of blood, over and over we die one after the other

It feels like a hundred years... A Hundred Years.

Xhol - 1969 - Motherfuckers Live (WDR Radio Live) [Full Album] HQ
Is there a work by a band that encapsulates all the beauties of acid free jazz? This!

The Fleshtones - Screaming Skull
Well, incredible band that deserves at least a top 30 just for them. After re-reading stuff about all the revival bands after so many years, it's amazing - I didn't remember this! - how everyone says they have, apart from everything else. The Yardbirds as an absolute reference point.
