The first album is not a great album, but one of those records that - personal tastes aside - mark the History of Rock. Choosing one is like choosing between 11 beautiful girls you happen to be in love with.
But the opening is a true statement of intent; a beat blast with a stunning bossa nova drumming by John. The doors opened, nothing was ever the same... in America there were already many great bands, but these guys were different...

I propose a topic to start debating (even in the coming days if it stimulates such minds): Is it more "capishonity correct" (by the way, @[G] is it possible to have the group members give a mention like capishonity correct or something else?) to say that "The Dark Side of the Moon" is an overrated album, a piece of junk for rock fans with expensive hi-fi stereos, or to say that it is - yes - an important album but loved by the wrong people for the wrong reasons?

YouTube video non trovatoFkJpa4VzwoA,,,,public housing under construction.,those ugly pipes and on the opposite side residential buildings. the first houses of the new salary.. it wasn't perceived but extra luxury back then,, all around only meadows.. I had to walk to school there wasn't even a bus... we called it "the avenue" later renamed, after the movie, "the death pole" :-))) even closer to this set was the last building, my school. how many times I walked it!
