Inspired by some excellent DeBaser fans with the hobby of occasionally sticking two fingers down their throats, I’m here to offer you a few chosen listens regarding the disgusting side of the production of some Italian groups that have truly made the History of Italian Music, once offering quality music with potential international appeal, only to then fall into the shallow waters of a low-quality discography, making them, for the most part, unrecognizable to the ears of their old fans.

Lucio Dalla - Anni Luce
“The unlistenable Dalla, or the 19 worst songs of the furry bear.” Seventh type of song “Anni luce.” The album is “Luna matana” from 2001. It’s not a bad record at all; in fact, it contains several gems like “Domenico Sputo” and “Chi sarò io.” In my opinion, it’s better than “Ciao,” “Lucio,” and “Il contrario di me.” Even better than “Bugie” (which doesn’t take much...).
But the chorus of this song leaves me more lost than the monkeys at the safari zoo.

Trip - Energia
Album peak along with Evoluzione and the title track. From the other tracks, I expected more magic given the beauty of Caronte and the debut. The same goes for Time of Change, which I can only save for the 20 minutes of Rapsodia (you don't say...the last gem from Vescovi and friends).
