Felt - The Stagnant Pool (Remastered Edition)
My favorites in indie along with The Smiths, Durutti Column, and The Church. There were many bands with the Postcard sound like Josef K/Pale Fountains, Australian indie like Dream Syndicate, and refined pop like Prefab Sprout/Deacon Blue... but these three have always captivated me.

They sound like the Depeche Mode from Songs of Faith and Devotion, but this is the latest dark post-punk gem along with that high Barria of Sound (since we’re at the end of the 80s).
